Focus on what's in front of you

I read a very interesting book called Bird by Bird by Anne Lamott where she shares insights on writing and life. This quote from her book “writing a novel is like driving a car at night. You can see only as far as your headlights, but you can make the whole trip that way” (E.L Dorctorow American novelist).

She says you don’t have to see where you’re going or your destination or everything you pass along the way. You just have to see two or three feet ahead of you. I apply this thinking when I get overwhelmed with the uncertainty of these times and find it helps me.
